Chemical Peels in Portland, OR

Chemical peels are one of Beam Aesthetics’ most versatile treatments for improving dullness, congestion, uneven tone, rough texture, acne, and early signs of aging. By removing built-up surface cells and encouraging healthy skin renewal, the right peel can reveal a clearer, smoother, more radiant complexion with minimal downtime. At Beam, chemical peels are never one-size-fits-all. Your treatment is selected based on your skin type, current concerns, sensitivity, and long-term goals, so you get the level of exfoliation your skin actually needs.

How Chemical Peels Support Healthier Skin

A chemical peel uses a specialized acid solution to exfoliate damaged and dead skin cells from the surface. As those cells shed, fresher skin is revealed underneath. Depending on the peel, treatment can also support collagen production and improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, sun damage, acne scars, enlarged pores, and uneven texture. The goal is not simply to make skin peel. It is to create controlled renewal that supports healthier-looking skin over time.

Skin Confidence Starts with Experience

Beam’s approach is built around healthy, high-functioning skin and treatment plans tailored to the individual, not trends or one-size-fits-all protocols. Founder Olivia Gill brings more than 11 years of aesthetics experience, including four years working directly in dermatology, and serves as Oregon’s Clinical Trainer for Sciton Lasers. Every member of the Beam team is personally trained by Olivia, bringing the same education-first, detail-driven approach to each patient experience. Beam also specializes in strategic treatment combinations, advanced pigment and melasma management, and evidence-based skin health.

Which Chemical Peel Is Right for Your Skin?

Beam offers options that can be customized for normal, oily, dry, and sensitive skin and for Fitzpatrick skin types I through IV. Our team will consider your sensitivity, skincare routine, recent sun exposure, treatment goals, and desired downtime before recommending the right peel and depth for your skin. Sometimes, a gentler treatment or a series of lighter peels is the better approach.

Reviews

I love this place too much!! It’s so beautiful & clean inside, and the whole team is so welcoming. My skin was in rough shape and Cynde is my skin angel. She listened to my goals and wasn’t afraid to dig deep to help me reach my results, we did a microneedling with BioRe chemical peel and my skin is glowing on a different level 3 days later!

What to Expect From Your Chemical Peel

Before Your Peel

Your provider will review your skin, skincare products, and goals. You may be asked to pause retinol, exfoliating products, waxing, and excessive sun exposure for about a week beforehand.

During Your Peel

Your skin is cleansed and prepared before the peel solution is applied. Extractions may also be included when appropriate. Most patients experience mild tingling or warmth, and appointments typically take about 30 to 45 minutes.

After Your Peel

Mild redness, sensitivity, dryness, or light peeling can occur. Downtime depends on the peel, but it is minimal with many of the treatments Beam offers. Daily sunscreen and gentle skincare are especially important while your skin recovers.
Many patients notice a brighter glow and smoother texture within days, with results continuing to build through a customized series.

Paired Treatments

Depending on your concerns and treatment timing, our team may recommend dermaplaning, customize facials, SkinPen® microneedling, medical-grade skincare, or laser treatments to address concerns that a peel alone cannot fully correct. The goal is to choose the right combination for clearer, healthier, more resilient skin.

How much do chemical peels normally cost?

Chemical peels at Beam Aesthetics start at $125. Final pricing depends on the peel selected and how the treatment is customized for your skin. Package or series pricing may also be available when regular treatments are part of your long-term skin plan.

Yes, when the chemical peel is appropriately selected for your skin type and concerns. Beam Aesthetics uses customized chemical peels to exfoliate dead skin cells, support healthy renewal, improve tone and texture, and address acne, pigmentation, fine lines, and sun damage.

Downtime is minimal for most chemical peels. You might experience mild redness, dryness, or sensitivity, but most people are able to continue with their normal activities right away.

We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup to give your skin time to rest and heal, especially after a medium-depth peel.
